With industry credits in both Latin America and the United States, Jimmie Bernal has held recurring lead and supporting roles in television series, film and stage performances. Highlights from his 20 years of acting include Te Quiero Pecas, Dejemonos de Vainas, Complices, Doña Barbara, Mas Sabe el Diablo, The Insetiables with The Bogota Players, and most recently, Nickelodeon’s Every Witch Way.
For Jimmie himself, the best, most memorable roles have been those with creative, dynamic directors, a teamwork-driven environment, and true dedication to the artistry of performance.
However, “just” acting has never been the whole of Jimmie’s life-putting his heart into rounding out his creative skill-set, and pouring himself into his passions and values, Jimmie has completed The Method training with Raul Santa, holds a PADI IDC instructor license as a professional diver, has training in close and executive protection, with further expertise in firearms and SWAT training. He has a sixth-degree black belt in Hapkido martial arts, and is also certified as a Natural Horsemanship Trainer.
Jimmie is based in Florida, where he, his wife, and their children live, run, and love Blue Stallion Farm, a family endeavor dedicated to natural horsemanship, small-scale high-quality breeding, and charitable outreach.
